Holiday Events
Tree Lighting at Pasadena City Hall (December 5, 2025)
Pasadena City Hall is decorated for the holidays with a special tree lighting ceremony led by the mayor of Pasadena. The event includes performances by local singers and dancers, fun crafts for kids from Armory Center for the Arts, snacks and drinks, and a visit from Santa Claus.
The event is from 5 to 7 p.m., and the tree will be lit at 6 p.m.
First Friday in Chinatown (December 5, 2025)
L.A.’s Chinatown stays open late for a night of checking out the one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants, and modern art and culture spots that make up this historic area. This month, First Friday is bigger than ever, joining with many businesses, live music, longer hours at art galleries, and the Damnoen Saduak Thai Market on Mei Ling Way.

A Winter Wonderland in Inglewood (December 7, 2025)

The Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade - December 13, 2025
The parade sails back for its 63rd year, this time with a whimsical “A Nightmare Before Christmas” theme. Enjoy live music, tempting food trucks, and a dazzling pre-parade light show.
